Ingredients

For the Base:

  • 1/2 Ripe Avocado
  • 1 Banana, mashed
  • 1/4 c Plain Yogurt (optional)

These ingredients will not only provide structure for your face mask but also an essential moisturizing element. It's okay to omit one of the three ingredients if you don't have them all on hand.

Directions

1) For best results, exfoliate your skin before applying this mask. I love to use the simple recipe of 2 Tbsp Honey & 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar to scrub my face.

2) Place the banana and avocado in a bowl, add honey and yogurt and mix well.

3) Add Spirulina to the mixture and incorporate thoroughly.

4) Once the mixture is blended well, spread onto a clean, damp face and allow to sit for 15-20 minutes or until dried.
