Honey Sriracha Glazed Chicken

A delicious take on your average chicken wing recipe! Blend Stakich Honey with Sriracha hot sauce to create the perfect combination of sweet and spicy that will have your guests asking for seconds.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c Stakich Raw Honey
  • 1/2 c Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • 2 lbs. Chicken
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder (if baking)
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika

Directions

FOR GRILLING:

Mix honey, sriracha, rice vinegar and sesame oil together. Add salt, pepper and paprika and stir thoroughly. You can either marinade the chicken in your Honey Sriracha mixture ahead of time (6-8 hours is ideal) or coat your cooked chicken with the glaze after its been grilled.

FOR BAKED CHICKEN WINGS:

Whisk baking powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika together in a small bowl. Place chicken wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle 1/2 of the baking powder mixture over wings and toss to coat. Sprinkle remaining baking powder mixture over wings and toss to coat again. Place wings onto the rack of the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Turn wings and continue baking for 20 minutes. Turn wings again and bake until wings are browned and crispy, about 15 minutes more. Transfer wings to a large bowl.

Whisk honey, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil together in a bowl until glaze is smooth. Drizzle glaze over wings and toss to coat completely. Transfer wings to a serving platter and sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.

This glaze can also be added to frozen meatballs or used as a dipping sauce. Share with friends and enjoy!
